Herd Sire Guarantee & Package.

1) The Seven (7) Day Live Cria Guarantee; insures that your breeding ends up with a live cria. Most problems occur within the first 24 hours, some will take three days, few come later than a week.  Our guarantee is your assurance that our sires produce high quality, strong crias.

2) Boarding Included:  When you purchase a breeding from Safe Haven, we include the cost of breeding and care for your female. If she has a cria by side there is no extra charge. 

3)  Charges and Fees: the cost of breeding and care are completely covered.  Your only cost will be for the ultrasound confirmation of the pregnancy.  we do two ultrasounds (30 & 60 days) to insure a viable pregnancy.  We also do not ship your female until she is at least 60 days along.  Other than any unexpected or emergency medical requirements, the cost of the breeding is designed to cover almost everything.

Terms:  we normally require 50% of the breeding fee down. The last 50% once your female is delivered to your farm.

Health Requirements:

To insure the health of every alpaca, Safe Haven does require any alpaca coming to our farm to meet certain requirements.  If the alpaca does not have the proper test results, we will reject any delivery and not allow the alpaca to be unloaded.

That may seem a little harsh to some, but when it comes to "bio-security" there is no middle ground.  We have to insure the health of our herd, as well as health of the alpacas that are boarded on our farm. 

Alpacas must show the3 following ; BVD Negative (including a cria of more than 45 days old), Negative TB, Negative Brucellosis, Wormed with a negative fecal in the last 21 days & a physical from a licensed veterinarian are required.
